Evan: It's Sid.
Me: And why did we name him Sid?
Evan: Cuz he looks cool like that guy in that punk rock band. What's that band again?
Me: The Sex Pistols
Evan: (giggling) I can't say that.
Me: But what was so good about that guy to make us name our lizard Sid?
Evan: He looked pretty BA. Yeah. But what did he play in the band?
Me: Theoretically, he played bass.
Evan: Yeah and he sucked.
Me: That's right, baby.

Evan--"Why doesn't this tarantula have big teeth like a real tarantula?"
Me--"Because Halloween decorations aren't usually anatomically correct."
Evan--"Well. They should be."
"Evan, you know you have cheese popcorn on your face in this one, right?"
"Yeah. I do. It's a good picture, though. You can still use it."

Me: Why did you take a picture of a picture of yourself?
Evan: Because I like it. Duh.

I asked Evan why he likes to take so many pictures of the television. "These are good pictures," he says. "I just like them. Luigi is cool. Don't you like Spongebob?"
